LHLC Before and After Care

Welcome to the Before and After Care, Little Huskies Learning Center. As a part of the Hamilton Heights School Corporation, we offer before and after school child care at the Hamilton Heights Primary School.

Purpose

The purpose of the before and after school program is to provide a safe, fun and caring environment in the hours before and after school. Children will receive homework assistance daily by staff that is committed to helping them do well academically. Children will have several choices of activities each day that are both age appropriate and appealing to them. Children will develop stronger social skills while enjoying various activites, such as:

• Physical activity, outside and in the gymnasium
• Arts and crafts
• Group Games
• Free play
• Technology
• Homework assistance

Requirements

The before and after school program is offered for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade. Elementary students enrolled are transported to and from the Primary School

Hours of Operation

Before Care:     6:30 a.m. - Start of School
After Care:       School Dismissal to 6:00 p.m.

More Information:

• Before and Aftercare provides care on early dismissal days.
• Every child will receive breakfast each morning and a healthy snack following arrival to p.m. care
• Every child will have the opportunity to complete his/her homework with assistance.

The LHLC programs are proud to participate in the state of Indiana's voluntary childcare rating program, Paths to QUALITY.

Little Huskies Learning Center is a CCDF provider.
